Dr. Kesia Asami

Dr. Asami says that dentistry is in her DNA. She grew up in Sao Gabriel do Oeste, MS, a small city in Brazil. In 2009, she attended one of Brazil's top ten Dental Universities, Universidade Federal do Parana, which was also her father's alma mater.

After receiving her DDS degree and practicing as a General Dentist, Dr. Asami moved to Pittsburgh. There, she expanded her knowledge in research, presenting her studies at AADR, the largest division of the International Association for Dental Research, and published the results in Frontier in Medicine Magazine. Her passion for cosmetic dentistry led her to Toronto, where Dr. Asami attended a Cosmetic Dentistry Residency and specialized in 3D technology (CEREC).

In 2021, Dr. Asami graduated with honors and received her DDS degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she and her husband now call home. As a dentist, Kesia takes great pride in getting to know her patients and treats them like family.

She looks forward to being part of a patient-focused practice and this community of professionals and patients.
